What we’re Thankful for this year

by Julia Guardione Updated on: February 6, 2019

As one of our favorite holidays draws near, most Americans are excited to spend time with family, travel, and of course enjoy the inevitable feast and their favorite traditions. Since all of us at rateGenius are American (we all live in the Austin, Texas area), we’re excited, too.

What makes us unique, however, is that we see our entire team as a type of family. When you spend so much time together having fun and achieving a common goal, it’s hard not to develop a strong bond with your colleagues.

So, though we won’t be together on Thanksgiving Day, we have our own traditions for the holiday – just like any other family!

First, we always share a traditional Thanksgiving meal together – turkey, stuffing, casserole, and all. Next, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, we literally “give thanks”; we have a moment of gratitude for all of the blessings that we’ve been given, both this year and since our inception.

Here’s what we’re thankful for:

Our team

We’re so proud to have such an amazing team that makes rateGenius a top-rated place to work and grow. We have a stellar company culture and a unique commitment to excellent customer service that is only created by choosing the best of the best. We really are a family, and we’re so grateful for that.

Our customers

People are the reason why we do what we do. For nearly twenty years, our singular objective has been to save our customers money. So, as long as drivers are buying auto loans, we’ll help them save.

We are beyond thankful for all of those we’ve worked with this year. We know how important your finances are, and we are honored that you chose us to help.

Our lender network

Our lenders give us the ability to do what we love – save people money. We choose our lenders wisely; we partner with those who not only offer great rates, but who are also committed to helping customers succeed. Thank you for all that you do. It’s hard work, but it’s always worth it.

Our affiliate partners

We know that we might not be a household name. That’s where our affiliates come in. They allow us to reach people who may not necessarily even know that auto refinancing is an option. Our affiliates are equally as committed to saving people money, so without them, we wouldn’t be able to help nearly as many as we do, and for that we are grateful.

Our families

Though the rateGenius team is a family, we all have people that we love outside of work. Our families support us, help us rest and recharge, make us happy, and give us a bigger reason to do what we do. Because our family members help give us balance, participate in our community involvement efforts, and attend our events, they contribute greatly to our wonderful company culture.

For that and everything else, we endlessly appreciate our families.

We’re thankful to have so much to be grateful for this year.

Happy Thanksgiving,

-The rateGenius Team
