We’re one of Austin’s Best Places to Work

We're one of Austin's Best Places to Work

That’s right.

For the 6th year in a row, we’ve been named a Top Workplace by the Austin American-Statesman.

Every year, the Statesman anonymously surveys Austin area employees, asking them detailed questions about their employers. This year, about 23,000 people participated, answering questions about workplace issues like leadership, company culture and values, and other qualities that contribute to employee satisfaction.

The surveys were able to narrow down the list to the top 100 workplaces in Austin, separating companies into categories (small, midsize, large) based on number of employees. We’re proud to have made the list of Top Midsize Employers!

What makes us one of Austin’s Best Place to Work?

A genuine desire to help people save money and a company-wide mantra – “always do the right thing”, guides the rateGenius team in both our internal and external affairs. We believe in the Golden Rule in all aspects of our business, and this philosophy has transformed into a company culture that creates and maintains happy customers and employees.

All of us here at rateGenius agree that we work for a company with an empowered culture that encourages personal, professional, and business growth, facilitating a cohesive community by encouraging communication between all departments and levels. Though there is always much work to be done and a high standard of productivity set, we “work hard and play hard”. When the day is done, celebration, recreation, and relaxation are encouraged and even facilitated by various company-organized events, teams, and clubs.

Just as we’re obsessed with helping people save money on their auto loans, we also have this attitude about helping our community. We have an annual goal to have all of our employees serve others external to the company, and there are ample opportunities to do so. So far in 2018, rateGenius has participated in dozens of community events including volunteering at the local food bank, pub-crawling for cancer, walking for MS, and treating local at-risk youth to a day of fun at a water park.

Here’s to six years and many more to come!
We love what we do, and it certainly shows.
